Our mission is to provide global solutions to the adverse impacts of synthetic products. By introducing 100% rescued – 100% recycled – 100% reusable products, the people at R3 are doing what we can to combat the devastating environmental impacts that pollute our soil, rivers, ocean’s and air

Currently, R3 supports the environment by rescuing coffee bean bags created for a single purpose, and recycling them with the help of US manufacturers into a reusable product that can eliminate plastic bags.

It takes hundreds of years for plastic to decompose and as plastic decomposes; it releases toxic chemicals into the surroundings, contaminating the soil as well as the groundwater, oceans and air.

As people become more environmentally conscious and global awareness of sustainable green products increase. Many leading cities around the world are wisely making the decision to ban plastic bags but are then left with the question; what do we replace them with?

Unfortunately, this has lead to many “sudo-green” substitutes that are either a combination of natural and synthetic materials or, have been dressed-up with toxic inks and dyes.

Using the philosophy of rescue – recycle – reuse, R3 looked at the existing answers to the plastic bag question and decide with a little effort we could come-up with a better answer. So, we took the next logical step and contacted the coffee bean industry!

R3 now supports the environment by rescuing coffee bean bags created for a
single purpose, and recycles them with the help of US manufacturers, into 100% natural, biodegradable, reusable products that eliminates the need for plastic bags and answers the “what do we replace them with” question.

Consumer market places, and the consumer themselves are given the opportunity to personally contribute in making a positive change for our global environment and our health. Proceeds from the sale of these bags supports research for finding a cure for Alzheimer’s and fund programs that support the caregivers, our environment and the countries from where these bags are created also benefit from the efforts of Rescue Recycle Reuse.

Our Mission

We are committed to providing global solutions to the adverse environmental impacts of synthetic products. By introducing 100% rescued – 100% recycled – 100% reusable products, the people at R3 are doing what we can to combat the devastating environmental impacts that pollute our soil, rivers, ocean’s and air

A little about our coffee bean bags

Our jute fiber is 100% natural biodegradable and sustainable fiber obtained from the jute plant and it is therefore extremely attractive for those who are at the forefront of the environmental movement and those who give top priority to environmental and ecological concerns.

Jute is eco-friendly:

Jute plants have high carbon dioxide (CO2) assimilation rate and it clean the air by consuming large quantities of CO2, which is the main cause of the greenhouse effect. Theoretically, one hectare of jute plants can consume about 15 tons of CO2 from atmosphere and release about 11 tons of oxygen in the 100 days of the jute-growing season. Studies also show that the CO2 assimilation rate of jute is several times higher than that of trees.

Jute is sustainable:

Jute is an annually renewable and sustainable resource with a high biomass production per unit land area.  Jute is a fast-growing seasonal crop. It reaches a height of 1.5 to 4.5 meters in a period of 4 to 5 months.

Jute is 100% bio-degradable:

It is biodegradable and its products can be easily disposed without causing any environmental hazards.

Jute is Organic:

No fertilizers and pesticides are used in jute harvesting as the previous harvest provides enrichment for current one.  Jute acts as a barrier to pest and diseases for others crops and provides also a substantial amount of nutrients to other crops in the form of organic matter and micronutrients.  The roots of jute plants play a vital role in increasing the fertility of the soil.

Jute for reusable bags:

Bags made from jute fiber have been used in Asian countries for years and Jute has proved to be the best material for reusable everyday use bags.  Number one reason is the strength of the jute fiber/yarn.  Whether you use the bag for grocery shopping, or for hauling library books, it can easily carry 120-125 lbs of weight on a regular basis for years to go.
